Another successful DAMA’s AMD 2012 roadshow was held in Miri
on 22nd September Saturday night at E-Mart Tudan. It was a big surprised with over 2000 crowds
filled up the supermarket’s stage compound to see their favourite artists
performed.
The objective of the roadshow is to instill awareness to the
public about the upcoming Anugerah Muzik Dayak 2012 which is to be held on the
24th November at DeTAR Putra, UNIMAS.
There would be a total of 14 awards to be nominated.
The artistes who performed were Aeron Jay, Jaya Ramba,
Regina, Rolisawatie, Leena Ranez, Thomas Anggat, Apin & Project 2, Hevance,
Melissa Francis, Gabriel Fairuz Louis, Edwin Maring, ZK Band, TokYa Band,
Masterpiece Band and even the MC of the night, Embat Lala

More then 4000 crowds
Another highlight of the event were the launching of
Gabriel’s album: GenggamJariku and also the presentation of AMD 2012
nomination forms as well as membership forms
to DAMA’s President, YB Snowdan Lawan from Panggau Buluh Pengerindu
(PBP) recording studio proprietor, Embat Lala.
So far to date, PBP submits the most nominations with a total of 42
categories.

There were also quizzes given to the public audience and give
away tokens sponsored by E-mart Tudan.
The event closed at midnight with Masterpiece band rendering their
award-winning song, Sinu and all DAMA committee members and other artistes sing
along on the stage.
